Learning is an important aspect of deepening one’s faith and spiritual practice. Guidance Church offers a full curriculum of Science of Mind/Religious Science classes.

 

Guidance Education Department

Our Education Department is aimed at empowering our students to connect with Spirit within themselves while enhancing their spiritual practice. The curriculum was created and refined by the United Centers for Spiritual Living; The Global Heart (formerly known as the United Church of Religious Science). Science of Mind curriculum is trans-denominational and spiritual rather than religious. Influenced by teachings from New Thought, Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, Islamism, Hinduism, Ancient Traditions, it’s aimed at transforming and up-leveling one’s relationship with God.

Guiding Light Bookstore

Our bookstore is designed to assist all who visit in recognizing Spirit everywhere, including within and as themselves.  We have a wide variety of books, videos, tapes and CD’s covering a wide variety of spiritual subjects from many cultural and religious viewpoints.  We also have an incredible collection geared to our children and youth.  We accept cash, credit cards and personal checks with proper identification for sales.  For items bought while visiting Guiding Light, full refunds are given for undamaged merchandise, returned with a receipt and within seven days of purchase.
